ASAs are the instruments for the government to solve the financial problems related to the electricity of energy companies and to control their reliability and environmental performance in the supply of electricity. SCAs do not give companies exclusive rights to supply electricity and are not franchisees. On the contrary, they set the rights and obligations of companies as well as the returns for their shareholders. The government oversees the financial matters of electricity-related companies through development plans submitted by them and annual tariff reviews and audit audits carried out jointly with them.
Companies` returns are also limited to an allowed percentage as a percentage of their fixed assets. Electricity strengthens our daily action and stimulates our economic development. It has long been the government`s policy to ensure that the municipality`s electricity needs are met in a safe, reliable, efficient and reasonably priced manner, while minimizing the environmental impact of electricity generation. SAAs help the government achieve these energy policy objectives.
